Our travel proposals are valid for 14 days. For quotes valid for longer periods, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price.
Booking, Payment, and Travel Documents
Booking with Indotours is done by completing one of the booking forms on the website. The booking is only finalized when you receive confirmation from Indotours.nl.
After booking, the trip is reserved and the booking documents are sent by email. If a specific module or hotel is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative. This may incur additional costs. Check that the booking is correct and that all names are spelled correctly. If anything is incorrect, please let us know as soon as possible. The invoice provides an overview of the itinerary and serves as proof of booking. Vouchers and tickets for transportation will be provided by the local representative.
Payment is made electronically via online banking or bank transfer. The invoice will be included with your booking documents. If you are paying from abroad, please make an international bank transfer.
The deposit for the land arrangement is 15%. This payment must be received in our account within 14 days. The remaining payment must be made 2 weeks before departure. If you book less than 2 weeks before departure, the deposit will be forfeited and the entire tour price must be transferred immediately. All our prices include VAT. The booking fee is €20 per person.
Travel to Indonesia
People in Indonesia have different customs, habits, and mentalities. As a result, things sometimes turn out differently than you expect. The law refers to “expectations that the traveler could reasonably have based on the agreement.” Choosing a long-distance trip means choosing to accept a certain degree of risk. Local conditions at the destinations and the nature of the trips may force us to adjust the trip. If we or our local agents have to resort to alternatives, travelers can rest assured that we will do our utmost to maintain or even improve the quality of their trip. All Indotours.nl trips are compiled with the utmost care. We evaluate trips and products based in part on information provided by our travelers.
Passports, Visas, and Health
Our website provides general information about passports, visas, and health. You are responsible for having a valid passport and any required visas upon departure and during your trip. It is essential to promptly verify that the information previously obtained is correct. Health advisories and regulations apply to Indonesia. Travelers are responsible for obtaining medical information from a vaccination clinic, tropical institute, Municipal Health Service (GGD), or general practitioner. Therefore, do not rely solely on the information on our websites. All travelers are also responsible for ensuring that they have obtained the necessary vaccinations in a timely manner prior to their trip.
Changes by Traveler
If, after booking, the traveler wishes to change the trip, this is possible. In consultation with Indotours.nl, we will explore the options. Indotours.nl will charge a €30 amendment fee per booking. Cancellation fees may also apply in addition to these amendment fees.
Cancellation Policy
A good cancellation insurance policy often covers the full cost of cancellation.
Indotours applies the following cancellation policy for the land package:
Cancellation by the traveler
Cancellation of the travel agreement by the traveler must be made in writing or by email. After submitting the booking form, the traveler retains the right to cancel free of charge up to 24 hours after receiving the confirmation form. This right expires if the booking is made less than eight weeks before the trip’s departure date.
In the event of cancellation, each traveler is liable for the following amounts, in addition to the booking fee:
– up to 8 weeks before the start of the trip, the cancellation fee is 20% of the trip price;
– up to 4 weeks before the start of the trip, the cancellation fee is 40% of the trip price;
– up to 2 weeks before the start of the trip, the cancellation fee is 70% of the trip price;
– up to 1 week before the start of the trip, the cancellation fee is 90% of the trip price;
– within 1 week before the start of the trip and during the trip, the full trip price will be charged.
